Whose Bar Food Reigns Supreme? “Contest”

Living in a college town is very interesting, especially when you’re living next to the street where about 65% of the public loves to go on a daily and nightly basis, Aggieville. I’ve ate at some of the restaurants on this street, but I’ve never ate food at the “Bars” within Aggieville. With Bar food, I’m picky at what is often served, simply because the food is often mediocre. This past month, I realized that the food is not why that establishment is there in the first place. People go there to simply drink, while the food serves as a supplement to your drinking/hanging out needs.  Bar food, like pub food in Europe, serves a purpose to please many customers with elegant dishes. In other words, many pubs have often raised their standards to a higher quality of restaurant/food service of cooking. I’ve been to some bars with great food, and some with not so great food across the country. I must inform you that there’s a huge difference between a “Bar & Grill”, and a Bar that serves food. With bar food/bars, it has little emphasis on serving high quality food, but they do have delicious specials offered to eat. The main thing you may see at a bar is wings, burgers, and tacos. So due to the fact that there’s a lot of restaurants and Bars in Aggieville, I want to know based on your suggestions, Whose Bar food reigns supreme in Aggieville?

Contest Rules:
Each week, I will find a time to sit down, eat, and interact with others.

Each Bar will have at least one representative that will sit down with me to offer suggestions about the food, while telling me things about the Bar (Service, Atmosphere, Cleanliness, Specials, History, etc..). I will also be the one to talk with whoever the owner or the head chef is of that place.  Whichever bar wins “Best Food” will be up for a write-up in my blog “Food of The Regions” later in the fall/early winter.  The only bars and restaurants that will not be in this contest, are the ones in which are franchised (ex. “B-Dubs, Fuzzy’s, Pizza Hut etc..), and of course restaurants that are NOT Bars, but is still a local business within the district.

With this, I’m grading heavily on the food, flavor, presentation, Menus, and creativity.

Public people, I need your help. All you have to do is send your suggestions to me on Twitter, or my g-mail account: ronaldatkinson66@gmail.com, and explain why does that bar have the best food? and what dish do you suggest that I eat?

Looking forward to see your suggestions, and seeing which Bar in Aggieville has the best food.
